Usually, you might not respond to an anonymous message like that. The most you would do would either block the user or ignore the message. What if, instead of ignoring that message or blocking the user, you decide to respond? Life can get quite tricky with you sometimes. Nonetheless, such messages may lead you to the abyss of opportunities.

As absurd as it may sound, this incident is not a tell-tale nor a story that may appear far beyond the realities of life. It is, in fact, an actual occurrence of events that changed the life of a 29-year-old Scottish-Persian woman named Roxanne Hamedi.

You have heard of her. Roxanne Hamedi is none other than the Television Celebrity who appeared in MTV studio’s reality show, Geordie Shore, and made it to the end. Peeking deep into her life, you will find that her life before she made it to the studio was like an ordinary but successful one.

From Aberdeen to London and London to Newcastle

Roxanne Hamedi was born in a Persian-Scottish family in Aberdeen, Scotland. Her parents are Iranian though they moved from Iran to Scotland long before she was born. Like an ordinary Iranian family, her parents were strict in her upbringing but loved her unconditionally nevertheless. She studied pharmacy for five years, and before she could start her practice, she moved to London with her boyfriend.

She continued her practice in pharmacy while the love of her life decided to part ways with her. In the meanwhile, a new opportunity was stumping on her door. She received an anonymous text on her Instagram account asking if she was single and ready to party. She was going through a serious relationship crisis. Nevertheless, she chose to answer that message. That is when her life changed – completely.

Her life had already begun its roller coaster ride. After she responded to that message, she happened to receive a few zoom calls. This led her to visit MTV studio in London, where she met with the executives who introduced her to the idea of their show on which they were willing to star her. It was only a matter of time before she made it to her fame.

A few days after she had the meeting at MTV studios, she got another call. This time it was a call for her to pack her bags and get to Newcastle. The change in her life by now had already begun to take place. Roxanne Hamedi set on a journey to stardom and fame the moment she stepped into the cab that would take her to Newcastle.

What Changed in Roxanne’s Life?

Everything around her changed. From being a pharmacist, Roxanne Hamedi was now all set to make her debut in the reality TV show Geordie Shore. She was on series 22 of Geordie Shore called “Hot Summer Single.” The show required her to be quarantined for two weeks with a group of people that comprised the show’s original cast and a bunch of laymen just like her.

The idea of the show was that strangers meet each other to find their soulmates. People would get eliminated, and new members would join the crew in order to make it to the position of the winner. Being her first exposure to the world of cameras and glamour, she made it to the end of the show with her remarkability.

The girl who was born into an ordinary family and grew up to be a pharmacist is now striving to make her career in the television industry.
