  • Crafting personalized subject lines. You can use a variation of a prospect’s name or company name through the help of merge tags.
  • Recommending products based on previous purchases and including promotional codes based on purchase history to make an impact right away.
  • Including dynamic content that adapts as per the conditions predefined. For instance, women are shown products that are suited to their gender.

2. Add social proof strategically

It’s a fact that we’re more likely to follow the lead of others than any other factor. This means that if we see people like us doing something – buying a product, making a decision – we will follow suit.  

You should benefit from this human behavior by including testimonials in emails from customers who have used your product or service to make a sale sound legitimate. This tactic is especially useful for B2B companies looking to generate leads.
