Are you tired of dealing with the same frustration from your current cable company and want to switch providers?

Not many people realize there are options available to get affordable, high-quality cable tv and internet in their household.

If you’re looking to switch companies for better cable tv or internet services, then you’re in the right place. The best alternatives provide a lot of channel options, value for the cost, and ease of use. But, which companies deliver what is necessary to make you one of their new customers?

Read through our list of the five top cable companies that you should consider when switching over services.

AT&T

AT&T has good options for internet service but mostly gets bundled together with DirectTV these days. The internet service can provide up to 100mps download speeds, while the bundled DirectTV package it comes with offers over 185 channels.

How much does the internet cost with AT&T? Their plans are some of the most affordable, ranging from $35 to $60 per month, and they don’t require a contract.

Spectrum

For great internet and tv bundled services, Spectrum has a good combination going for it. Download speeds can get as high as 400mps or higher, with around 35mps upload speeds as well.

The television offering with Spectrum has a range of 125 to 175 channels based on what package you go with. Spectrum has a good price range for its packages as well, going for about $90 per month, with $120 per month for the higher-end plan.

Xfinity

Xfinity is available in many different states, which offers quality internet, tv, and phone services. Internet speeds can range from 50mbs to 2,000mbs, with different plans starting at $45 to $50.

There are 220 channels for the tv bundle with Xfinity, with additional options that can be added. If you’re looking for a more custom plan with different options, you can see more when visiting an Xfinity authorized retailer.

Verizon

For the most flexible of plans, Verizon offers the Verizon Fios bundles with internet and tv. There are three plans to choose from with pricing that ranges from $40 to $80 per month, with higher costing plans available. But a perk of this is that each plan has no contract to sign up with unlimited data.

Internet speeds with Verizon can go as high as 940mps or as low as 200mps. The channel count for the tv bundle can range from 125 to 425 channels in total.

RCN

RCN is a great alternative with five choices of plans to go with. Internet speeds range from 50mps to 940mps, making it one of the best options for those interested in online gaming.

Plans with RCN can start as low as $30 per month and go as high as $50 per month for the highest tier. In the television bundle, you can get over 285 channels
