If you want to put your life on a blissful pause, then this Island is the destination of choice. It’s a pirate town – mostly imposters having fun. 14) Block Island, Rhode Island

Escape into a more natural, quieter setting at Block Island and explore nature. Go on a hiking trail and visit natural preserves.

The Mohegan Bluffs is a fantastic place to check out the coastline.
